Our Leadership Team

Richard H. Proctor, Jr.

As a Managing Partner for Pinpoint Wealth Partners, Rick has built his career around providing comprehensive life insurance and estate planning solutions to successful individuals, their families and closely held businesses.  He has found that developing long term relationships with clients and strategic partners allows for a more holistic and aligned experience for all parties involved.  Rick actively nurtures these relationships, allowing for better outcomes and more innovative, all-encompassing wealth preservation strategies for his clients.

Graduating from Dartmouth College, Rick is a believer in lifelong learning, and he consistently spends time working to improve his wealth of knowledge.  He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation and is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals as well as the Association of Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), an organization with an influential voice for the life insurance community in Washington, DC. Rick is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is an owner of Lion Street, a leading national financial services company owned by fiercely independent financial advisors.

Rick’s career expertise has always been centered around the life insurance and financial services industry.  Throughout the years, he has built his own independent practice, while partnering with other specialty advisors to expand what’s possible for his clients. In 2020, the firm has formally evolved into a new company with multiple advisors called Pinpoint Wealth Partners.

Outside of the office, you will find Rick and his wife Karen making memories with their family or traveling.  Rick believes that family activities and gatherings should always come as a top priority, and they make an effort to spend significant time together on the coast of Maine in the summer. He is an avid golfer and loves the outdoors.  Rick is active in his community, having served on the board of Trinity Preparatory School and the alumni board of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia, where he is an alum.  He has chaired several boards for the City of Winter Park Florida and has been an active member of the boards of the Winter Park Racquet Club, the Winter Park “Y”, and Interlachen Country Club, serving as President.  Rick believes that in life we cannot change the inevitable; however, we are in charge of our attitudes, and we have the choice every day to make a positive impact on our own lives and the lives of those around us.
